Charlotte’s Web Thinking Skills and Graphic Organizers for Writing is a 31-page , two component resource for teaching E. B. White’s 1953 Newbery Honor Book .
1) Think, Write, Create is a collection of open-ended prompts based on the higher level thinking skills of Bloom’s Taxonomy. Items range in difficulty from the most basic to challenges for gifted students.
Each chapter has a set of prompts that teachers may choose from. A set of whole-book prompts are useful for post-reading activities and quizzes.
Most, but not all, of the items in this section are CCSS aligned. They also meet standards for many other reading programs.
2) The series of GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS for writing are based on specific novel events or characters. Some are chapter oriented, others are designed to be used as post-reading assignments.
