Halloween with Double Double Letters

Halloween with Double Double Letters begins with a two-page activity that focuses on words whose spellings include two sets, or even three sets, of double letters.

HALLOWEEN, an obvious member of this group, starts the ball rolling as the first on the list. All fifty terms can be identified by their scrambled spellings, definitions, and/or association clues.

The double-letter activity is followed by a graphic organizer for writing entitled SEEING DOUBLE.

A list of thirty-five additional double-double letter words is included after the answer keys for those who want to construct a second activity set.
